Weekly Psalm

Ps 145:1-2, 8-9, 10-11, 13-14

R. I will praise your name for ever, my king and my God.
I will extol you, O my God and King, and I will bless your name forever and ever. Every day will I bless you, and I will praise your name forever and ever. R.

The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness. The LORD is good to all and compassionate toward all his works. R.

Let all your works give you thanks, O LORD, and let your faithful ones bless you. Let them discourse of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might. R.

The LORD is faithful in all his words and holy in all his works. The LORD lifts up all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down. R.

Feasibility Study Starts off with a Bang!

What an exciting time to announce the beginning of our feasibility study! After several years of planning and preparation, St. John the Baptist Catholic Community is entering into the formal feasibility study process! We have had two Feasibility Study Commission (FSC) meetings to begin planning and developing all that needs to occur over the next several months. Please note this area of the bulletin often as we will be placing announcements here regularly to inform our parish about the study and what to expect.

Right now, we are in the process of enlisting host families for informational meetings and endorser families for our feasibility study casebook. If you are asked to help in this way, we hope you will agree. Also, we encourage everyone in the parish to attend an informational meeting. We are only in a feasibility study, not a capital campaign, and the purpose of these meetings is to inform the entire parish of the potential plans at this time and to enlist feedback and input about those potential plans. No fund-raising will be conducted at the meetings. All parishioners will receive an invitation to attend a meeting; we hope everyone will participate by attending!
