What is LECTIO DIVINA?

 

It is Bible Study.

It is spiritual reading.

It is a form of prayer.

 

This art of sacred reading has its roots in the ancient Church where it was originally practiced in monastic circles. Its rediscovery runs parallel to a return to the study of the Bible on the part of the faithful.  You are invited to come to learn more about this prayer style and join others to deepen our prayer life.
