Mom's Group
Schedule:
1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month
Moms of all ages and children at home are
invited for faith sharing on the first and third Wednesdays during the
school year from 9 -10:45 a.m. in the Parish Center. For information
contact Marylynn Murray, 319-848-7311.
Mom and children activities, guest speakers and service projects are on
the agenda this year for the group. Our ongoing service project includes
helping Birthright with their Wish List. Our group and the Social
Justice Committee is hosting a parish wide drive planned for October.
Please feel free to donate gently used or new items.
Also the moms provide meals and a baby basket to parish families with
new babies. At least twice this year, we'll make baby blankets to
include in the New Mom's Baby Basket. If you'd like to assist with the
New Mom's Meal, please contact Amanda Rhomberg @ 895-8221.
