Overview

The Parish Community Life Commission mission is to foster a sense of belonging and fellowship among the members of the parish. Its scope of activity would include all those parish events which foster the community life of the parish and strengthen family life within the parish community.

The ministries of the Commission include:

To support activities and programs that foster the mental, physical, and spiritual well-being of the individual and the family.
To plan special events such as picnics, dances, potluck suppers, etc. which bring the parish together to strengthen community, family and faith.
To endeavor to involve every parishioner in some active ministry of the parish.
To provide a welcoming and hospitable community to newcomers, visitors, former members and the unchurched.
To support programs of evangelization.
To be responsible for promotion of and communication about parish activity to all parishioners.
