The Social Justice
Commission responds to the social problems within the parish, to the
local community, and to the needs of the broader world.
Mission:
Function:
-
educate parishioners to
realize that all are called to care for the needs of the universal
church and the world; such as issues relating to justice, peace,
hunger, and the sanctity of life.

coordinate parish
service programs such as those listed below under Stewardship.

challenge the
institutions of our society to change, when necessary, in order that
the dignity and rights of each person may be preserved.

inform parishioners of
the social justice teachings of the Church.
